I think the biggest challenge J.R.R. Tolkien had in his life was the lose of his wife Edith, he had been married to her for 55 years at the time that she died. He mounered for about 1-2 years when he told himself to go on with life and to be with his family that is how he overcame the situation
Loss is a very tough thing to overcome. One can "tell themselves" how to act, but it seems that until the grieving process is complete, one must feel pain. How do you handle disappointments in your own life?
The biggest challenge Pat dealt with was ofcourse going to war. Although, in football he had to deal with his size because he was only 5 foot 10 inches. He wasn't very fast eathier.
The biggest challenge Kurt Warner faced was the fact that he was rejected from the NFL many times but was always an accurate quarterback. He never gave up his dreams because he loved football.

The biggest challenge Einstein faced was his heart problems. I would overcome them by always listening to my doctors.
