Why doesn't the old man ask Bala why he is living alone in the strange valley of bones?

  1. The old man does not ask Bala why he is living alone in the valley of bones because he feels uncomfortable and thinks Bala is phsycho. The bones symbolize the dead and unpleasent so the old man is surprised by this sight. Bala also thinks the old man already knows that he lost his honor. I think Bala's thoughts are true.

  2. I agree with Hamel, he knows Bala has lost his honor and is strange that someone with his skill would live in the middle of a bone yard.

  3. I agree with both Riley and Matt. I would like to add that the old man thinks it is a subject that Bala would not like to discuss

  4. I think the old man does it to be respectful. he senses that it is a touchy subject for Bala.

  6. I think that the man doesn't ask him because he is a little frightened by him because he lives in a house made out of bones and lives in a so called haunted forest that no one else lives in.
