  2. I am reading Lock and Key and am about to finish and then I am going to read Magyk. Lock and Key is a great book and I am going to read more Sarah Dessen books in the future. Lock and Key makes you never want to stop reading. My favorite character in Lock and Key is definitely Ruby, because she is outgoing and willing to try new things. Although she is still in shock from her mother leaving her she is still a good sport about everything. She did got in a lot of trouble, but she knew that she made a huge mistake that could cause her to lose her life.

  3. i just finished the Lightening thief. sawyer, you are going to love this book. i was addicted to it for three days and before i knew it, i was done. i won't tell you guys too much about it, but i definitely would recommend it to ANYONE who loves that feeling when you just absolutely CANT STOP READING, and then when you finally do, you feel all relaxed and somewhat tired. incase you don't know, Percy finds out that he is related to a very important god, and almost as soon as he finds this out he is granted a quest from camp half-blood, where he meets new friends that go on this quest with him. they slay monsters, discover mysteries, and much, much more that I'm sure many people in this class would love.

Four dead perfect shots with 2005 old school equipment?

  5. I am reading the Rangers Apprentice Series for my independent reading books. I would recomend it for anyone who is looking for adventure, mystery, and a little bit of fantasy. It is one of those books that you cant stop reading because of how well the plot flows. The Series is about a boy named Will who becomes a Rangers Apprentice and his adventures because of being a Rangers Apprentice.

  6. Hello friends! I am reading an intense chinese adventure story called The Five Ancestors:Tiger by Jeff Stone. In this book, Fu, Malao, Hok, Seh, and Long have been seperated in search of their forgotten pasts after Canghzen Temple was overrun by the evil monk, Ying, and his stone-clad army sent by the emporer. However, their grandmaster was murdered by Ying in his countless efforts to steal the sacred dragon scrolls. He needs them to complete his training. Luckily, Fu was able to steal the scrolls from the second-in-command elite fighter and disappear into the forest before Ying could kill him. This is the first book in the series of The Five Ancestors. Tiger mainly focusses on Fu and his adventures because he mastered the technique of the tiger. The author uses very descreptive adjectives and touching emotions to describe the monk's movement, conversations, fighting skills, etc.. If Fu did not risk his life to steal back the dragon scrolls, Ying could become the master of Kung Fu. I would reccommend this book to my friends and claasmates because it is an action-packed story full of suspense and heroism. I cannot wait to read the next exciting chapter in The Five Ancestors: Tiger. So guys, please take this book into consideration and put in on your reading list of books. Thank you!

  8. I am reading Snakehead, by Anthony Horowitz. It is the seventh book in the Alex rider series. When I first saw the cover of the book, I wondered what it could possibly be about. Well, I soon found out that Snakehead is a criminal organization, like the Mafia, but much, much bigger and more dangerous. Danger and adventure are everywhere. Alex asks his father's best friend about his parents, who are dead, and ventures deep into his past. He meets old and new friends and enemies along the way. I would strongly recommend this book to anyone who has ever seen a James Bond movie or who has ever wondered about spies and spy organizations all around the world. But, you should read the first six books before you read this one.

  9. I am reading The lightning Theif by Rick Riordan. It is an incredible book and i look forward to the rest of the series. It is about Percy Jackson who finds out he is half god half human. He is given a quest to find zues's stolen lightning bolt, and return it before a certain date. I think that the book is amazing, and that there really shouldn't be any changes so far. Untill i find out the colclusion, the book is perfect.

  10. Today, I finished, The lightning theif. I went and saw the movie, which in my opinion was TERRIBLE!!! it has nothing in common with the book! well, it does have some things in common, but most of the events were completely different. In the book,Hold on...SPOILER ALERT!!! IF YOU DON'T WANT THE BOOK TO BE SPOILED, STOP READING THIS! In the book, everyone thiks that Ares, God of War, stole the lightning bolt, untill the end when Luke tries to kill percy but fails, and admits to stealing the bolt, He is framed immedietly in the movie. Also, Grover, is left behind in the underworld, and Percy's mom is saved, when is the book, she is left behind, but rescued later. While reding, I noticed one part where the author should have worded it differently. In the book, Grover is flying towards an endless it, with Hermies's magic flying shoes. The narrator(percy) says,"The way Grover was stopped is...So on" I think it should have gone something like,"when grover _____________, he immedietly came to a hault and was safe from eternal falling." That is a change I would have made if I were the editor.
