Stanley and the boys at Camp Green Lake were required each day to did a hole that was 5’x5.’
How many cubic feet of dirt would be removed?
What would be the perimeter of each hole?

  1. Given that the formula to find cubic feet is length x width x height, the hole that Stanley and the boys are required to dig each day would equal 125 cubic feet of dirt.

Assuming that Stanley's hole is dug perfectly round, the perimeter would be 15.7 feet.

  2. perimeter: 15.7 ft. ( 2 x 3.14) x r

cubic feet of dirt: 125 cubic feet of dirt
    (l x w x h)

  3. Since length x width x height equals the area of the hole, 5' x 5' x 5' would equal 125 cubic feet of removed dirt.

To find the perimeter of Stanley's hole, you must use the equation of (2 x radius) x 3.14. When you plug in the numbers into the equation, you get 31.4 feet. So the perimeter of Stanley's hole is 31.4 feet.

  4. To find the cubic feet its LxWxH = 5x5x5=125 so its 125 sq. feet.

To find the perimeter its 2.5x2.5=6.25 then 6.25x3.14=19.625 so the perimeter of Stanley's hole is 19.625 feet

  5. you're all wrong. D divided by two R=2.5 squared= 4.25xpi=13.345x5=

66.725 cubic feet is your real answer

  7. My previous answers were wrong. Assuming that the hole is a cylindar, the formula would be 3.14 x (r x r) x h. The radius is 2.5 and the height is 5. My answer is 98.125 cubic feet.

The perimeter of the hole is the circumference which is 3.14 x d. The diameter is 5. My answer is 15.7 feet

  9. The formula is LxHxW so the cubic feet would be 125 cubic feet. 5x5x5 or 5 to the third power- 5 cubed.

  10. The formula for finding cubic feet is LxHxW and 5x5x5 is 125 cubic feet.

    The perimeter is 15.7.
